Objective
Improve the map view on the booking confirmation screen.
Discovery explanation
From data and customer interviews, we know that the map is a heavily used feature for when users determine whether to take a ride or not. We must improve this micro experience.
Hypothesis
By improving visibility on the map, search to booking conversion would increase as well as ride completion.
Problem statement(s)
- the walking path and the ETAs are sometimes confusing for new users
- The full route from pickup to dropoff should be clearly visible and informative
- Users are sometimes confused about the station location since there is no physical station on the ground and often the naming is not exact
- We need to provide additional station info as well as images that will help establish trust and reduce anxiety
- Users do not know the stops along the bus route
